MAYU Health is a Brisbane-based Ayurvedic medical centre created with one simple goal to help you heal naturally, comfortably, and faster. MAYU is the short name for Maheshayurveda, a trusted healing journey built on years of experience, care, and real results.

MAYU Health is founded and led by Dr. Mahesh Jayathilaka, a qualified and experienced Ayurvedic medical practitioner. Dr. Mahesh completed his Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) at the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka, followed by a one-year compulsory internship at government Ayurvedic hospitals. This training gave him strong clinical experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of health conditions.

For nearly four years, Dr. Mahesh practised in Sri Lanka, where he established Maheshayurveda and treated thousands of patients. His care is deeply personalised looking at your body constitution, dosha balance, digestion, and overall health, rather than using the same treatment for everyone.

After migrating to Australia, Dr. Mahesh became a registered member of the Australasian Association of Ayurveda (AAA)and now brings his international experience to the Australian community.
